Above 70 people gathered to hear Silk Data experts speaking about AI and Machine Learning and what potential it holds for a publishing industry.

The areas where AI are already being used or can be implemented in the coming years are automated recommendations (based on reading behavior, similarity and readers‘ profile data analysis), book indexing, summarization, improved search, ads Personalization, and etc. For every established business it’s always important to understand a business impact from implementing new technology. Thus, a big part of the presentation was devoted to real case studies and a possible effect on business metrics. Some of the vendors got interested in possible pilot project with Silk Data.
